Ashlyn at 7 months

" Look at me...I can crawl now"

At 7 months and 1 week, Ashlyn is full-on crawling and is into EVERYTHING. We can't turn our backs for a second. She is "miss curious" and enjoying all the fascinating items throughout the house:)Ashlyn loves to wear hats, especially this one with her initials.

Check out Ashlyn's two bottom teeth. She is working on a few more up top. This is the month for major milestones. Ashlyn has also started giving kisses and an occasional wave "bye-bye". We think she is way beyond her years and as brilliant as ever!

One-day get-away to Big Bear Mountain.

I hadn't skied in 7 years so this was quite a treat. I picked it back up pretty quick and seemed to impress Phil with my smooth moves on the slopes:)

Grandmommy Mary Lou came to stay with us while Phil was in Thailand on business. What a great visit we had. Here Grandmommy is introducing Ashlyn to pears. She thinks we are giving her candy...it's so sweet and yummy!

BIG WEDNESDAY!! --SWEET!

December 5th, 2007, It was a big, big day for Southern California. A direct West Swell hit the coast, waves in So Cal from 10-20+feet! Some spots hit 60 feet further up the coast.

The day began at 8:00am- Big Swell, sets from 10-15 feet at my surf spot.

YES, you are correct, yours truly was featured surfing on TV on Fox News. Below is the snap shots from it. As soon as I learn how to upload the video I will, until then, here are the pics- surfing about a 10-12 footer.- biggest wave I caugt that day was about 14 -15 feet.

Christmas 2007

This year we spent Christmas with Phil's extended family. We stayed with Phil's Cousin Laura and her family in Elko, Nevada. Here we are on our 2-day drive. We stopped in Sacremento for the night and arrived in Elko on the 22nd. Ashlyn was such a champ on our long car ride. Mommy and Daddy stocked up the car and had lots of fun toys for her to play with. It's going to be a White Christmas! This was only one of the spectacular sunsets we saw while in Nevada. What gorgeous skylines!Here's our sweetie-pie all bundled up...We made it!
