Kailey was the first to meet Jace and was super excited about the new baby. She enjoyed pointing out all of his tiny features..."nose" "eyes." She patted him on the head and blew him kisses. She thought he was pretty fascinating until Mommy picked him up to calm his crying. Kailey shot us a look of jealously and crawled right up into Mommy's lap with Jace. It might take some adjusting to this new addition:)
Ashlyn came home from school, running from the car to the house saying, "Where's baby Jace, where's my little brother?" She instantly fell in love and wanted to hold Jace, snuggle, kiss him, feed him, etc. Overall, she has been very gentle and understands that she gets to hold him when sitting down only and when mommy or daddy are around to help:)
Ashlyn often tells me that I've had my turn to hold Jace, now it is her turn. She is clearly a very proud big sister and has been telling all her friends about her new baby brother.
Special moments with Grammie Mary Ann
So little...he is swimming in all of this newborn clothes! We are not used to such a tiny little thing. He is eating well though and very healthy. He's got to maintain his energy to keep up with his sisters!

For being our least snuggly girl, Ashlyn has surprised us with her constant desire to cuddle with Jace and give him lots of love.
