Christmas in Palm Desert

We enjoyed Christmas with Phil's extended family this year in Palm Desert. All 9 cousins got to open their stockings Christmas Eve and share in the fun of what Santa brought them. Here's Ashlyn with her Grammie as they open her new Elmo block set.

What pretty princesses!

During our visit we took a trip to the Living Desert, a beautifully landscaped zoo and animal hospital. Ashlyn had a blast petting the goats and "fixing their boo-boo's"

Christmas 2009

Here is Ashlyn doing the Chrismtas twist in her preschool Christmas Program. It was a hoot watching her boogie with her classmates. She was hilarious!

Candy Cane Lane is only a couple blocks from our home. Every house on this block has an elaborate light show and was so much fun for the girls to see.

Santa came by our house in his sleigh, escorted by the El Segundo Police. We heard the sirens and went outside. Santa was waving at us and let us jump on his sleigh for a photo. Both girls loved Santa. I was so happy that no one cried:) Kailey was fascinated by his beard and Ashlyn asked him for a pink candy cane for Christmas! Ashlyn had fun decorating a gingerbread house and eating most of the candy before they ever made it onto the house. What she doesn't know is that when she went to bed, Mommy and Daddy ate the walls and roof of her house. That was some really yummy gingerbread!

Vacation in Hawaii

We enjoyed a wonderful week in Hawaii, including a special Thanksgiving with Phil's family.

Kailey had a ton of fun on her first vacation in Hawaii. She loved swimming in the pools, playing with her cousins and getting alot of sweet attention from her Grammie & Grandpie.


Ashlyn had the time of her life fishing, swimming in the ocean, feeding the coi fish, drinking juice straight from a coconut and spending quality time with her grandparents and cousins.
