Summer 2009

Ashlyn' s favorite thing to do for the last 3 weeks is to dress up in her ballerina tutu with butterfly wings and run all around the neighrohood. Even after three weeks, this has not gotten old. We have gone shopping on main street, to the grocery store, over to friends houses and have taken many walks up and down the street in front of our house, all in this outfit!!!

Ashlyn loves being 2 and still sings happy birthday to herself several times a week. She can't stop talking about how fun her birthday party was. At her 2 year doctor appt. we found out that she is 31 lbs. and 3 feet tall (off the charts for her age!!) We should start teaching her basketball now. Phil is worried she might surpass us both in height:)

Our beautiful little princess is 4 1/2 months old, 14 lbs, 14 oz. and growing. She is loosing most of her hair and it seems to be slowly turning blonde. Still to be determined what color hair she will have...

What a cute pair! Can't wait till they can really play together.

July Visit of our Families

We had an incredibly special weekend with both Phil & Emily's families in town. Our sister's and their children came for a visit as well. Ashlyn and Kailey were never short of attention and they both loved getting to spend time with their cousins!
