 One of the kids' favorite activities is to go to Starbucks and get a treat:) This time it was hot chocolate...yum! 

Jace Turns Two!

 Grampie and Gramie came to visit over Jace's birthday.  We had a wonderful family celebration full of games, weenie roast, presents and ice cream sundaes!  Everyone had a great time!

 Here the kids are playing "pin the wheel on the fire truck" and Jace is trying out his new tee-ball set from cousin Joey and Katie.  

 Jace wasn't too crazy about wearing the blind fold so he did quite well at this game!

 It took all the will-power in the world for Ashlyn and Kailey to not rip into Jace's presents:)  

 Ashlyn hand-made several gifts for her brother and wrapped them herself.  This turtle is one of them.  

 Can't let any ice-cream go to waste:) 

Kailey's First Day of Preschool in her new 3-year-old class

 Ashlyn's first day in Tedde the transitional kindergarten class at our local elementary school. 

 Outdoor Painting

 Somehow Kailey and Jace shared an easel side with very little disagreement!  They worked together nicely to create a beautiful painting. 

 Ashlyn was happy to have her own side to imagine & create with.

 Here's one of Ashlyn's creative masterpieces.  She regularly goes around the house embellishing items that are clearly not fancy enough for her taste.  This vase was one of them:) She hangs streamers from our ceiling, tapes paintings to our front door, ties ribbon around bed railings, pipe-clearners around door knobs and much more!!!   Her creativity seems endless...

Happy 5th Birthday Ashlyn

 Ashlyn had been saving up money in her piggy bank to buy a nice set of face paints.  Here she is testing out her skills on Kailey.

 The happy birthday girl had the time of her life!  

 We gave out the party favors after each child ran through a little obstacle course involving Phil's spin machine, whip cream sprayed on the nose and a sprint through the sand.  Fun times!
