Our visit to the Natural History Museum

Here we are being Paleontologists excavating dinosaur bones. Both Emily and Ashlyn were pretty fascinated by this and could have spent hours on a dig!

These elefants were in the African Mammal Exhibit. It's hard to tell in this photo, but they were larger than life and exquisite to look at.

We participated in a live dinosaur show. We did not stay the whole time, because this life-like puppet was a bit too scary for Ashlyn.

Halloween 2009

Time for Trick or Treating

Ashlyn's maiden voyage as a "trick or treater" was tons of fun. She was so polite and always said trick or treat and thank you:) As soon as we turned away from a house she would say, "more, mommy, I want more houses!" She had a blast meeting all of her neighbors and some even gave her extra candy when she flashed her cute smile a few times! What fun memories.

This was our first night out in a long time. We attended the "Pink Party", a fundraiser for Women's Cancer Research.

Aunt Johannah and Uncle Brian came to visit last week.  We had a great time.  Here is Johannah taking a ride on Ashlyn's surf board:)

We tried feeding Kailey solid foods but she didn't quite get the hang of it. She didn't care for rice cereal but did seem to like these carrots, althought she had no idea how to eat them. She wouldn't open her month and tried to suck the spoon like a bottle:)

Ashlyn's old nanny Christina brought Ashlyn a box of dress up clothes that her niece had outgrown. What a great gift! Ashlyn had a blast playing dress up and being a princess for the day.
